New Game

The same 2048, on the same 4×4 board with the same solver, but the winning tile is 8192 instead of 2048 — two extra doublings, so a typical run runs considerably longer. Every rule carries over unchanged: tiles merge when two equal numbers collide, a new 2 or 4 appears after every move, and the run still ends once the board is full with no matching neighbours left.

Why play to 8192 instead of 2048?

Two extra doublings past 2048 sounds small but isn't: every additional merge chain needs the board kept emptier for longer, so mistakes that a 2048 run could shrug off compound instead. It's a genuine test of the same skills the classic game rewards — corner control and prioritising open cells over immediate merges — stretched over a longer run. Tiles above 2048 (4096, 8192 and beyond) get their own colours here rather than one generic dark tile, so the board stays readable at a glance the whole way.
